An immigrant from Pakistan, Abubakar came to Italy in 2016 and will wait 3 more years for his residency. Given my interest in documenting the diversity of Bettona, I struck up a conversation with him at this year’s sagra. Abubakar was helping out clearing tables along with his fellow Pakistani, Raul.
