I was completely unaware of this English tradition of Christmas Crackers. The event was extra special because the late Viscount John Julius Norwich was the main attraction at this fundraising dinner at the Ritz Carlton. Sir John keep the audience enthralled with his delightfully bawdy songs and witty repartee.
